Management

SASFA is managed by the SAISC, and stands under the ultimate control of the SAISC Board, who can override the decisions of the SASFA Steering Committee. The policies, priorities, budget and activities of SASFA stand under the control of the SASFA Steering Committee.

Control

The staff employed by the Institute will report to the SASFA Steering Committee on all matters related to SASFA, but will operate under the control and direction of the Executive Director of the SAISC.

Membership fees paid by members of SASFA will be used exclusively for the pursuit of SASFA objectives. The SAISC will allocate an agreed amount of the funding received from SAISI to SASFA.

SASFA will compile a budget at the beginning of each financial year, taking into account the funds available to it, and will manage its affairs to adhere to the budget. Monthly reports will be provided to the SASFA Steering Committee to assist it in sound financial management.
